Southbridge Rehab Honors Employees for Years of Service

SOUTHBRIDGE, M.A. — On October 22, 2024, Southbridge Rehabilitation & Health Care Center celebrated the dedication of its employees by presenting service awards, ranging from five years to an impressive 44 years of commitment. Dennis Billings, Regional Director of Operations for Massachusetts, and Alexandra Willet, Administrator in Training, led the ceremony, presenting 52 employees with certificates and service pins to honor their loyalty to the center, the residents in their care, and their colleagues.

The awards recognized 24 employees with five to nine years of service, 11 with 10-14 years of service, 12 with 15-19 years of service, and three with 20-24 years of service! Notably, the center honored Tammy Bouchard, the Assistant Food Service Director, for 38 years of service, and Dietary Aide Randy Lamica for 44 years of dedication.

Southbridge Rehab, a 144-bed skilled nursing facility in Southbridge, offers short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, respite services, and hospice care. The center also provides specialized support for individuals with substance use disorders who require skilled nursing services. With a committed interdisciplinary team, Southbridge Rehab strives to enhance residents’ quality of life through compassionate and personalized care.
